Corrupt Files
First I ran this command to check for corrupt files: scf /scannow
Which resulted in this message: Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log %WinDir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log.
The log files claimed I had a Component Store Corruption on both work pc and my personal one.
I ran this command to fix the corrupt files: dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
To make matters worse I also found a Trojan on my personal computer named: Trojan.PWS.Agent.SSS

Disk Part

How to use Diskpart to delete partitions that you can’t otherwise delete.

1. Open a command prompt as administrator.
2. Run Diskpart application by typing Diskpart in the command prompt.
3. In the “Diskpart” prompt, enter rescan command and press Enter key to re-scan all partitions, volumes and drives available.
4. Then type in list disk and press Enter key to show all hard disk drive available.
5. Select the disk that contains the partition you want to remove. Normally, with just 1 hard disk, it will be disk 0. So the command will be:
Select disk 0
Finish by Enter key.
6. Type list partition and press Enter key to show all available and created partition in the disk selected.
7. Select the partition that wanted to be deleted by using the following command, followed by Enter key:
Select partition x
Where x is the number of the recovery partition to be removed and unlocked its space. Be careful with the number of this partition, as wrong number may get data wipes off.
8. Finally, type in delete partition override and press Enter key.

Issue: Accidently clicked “don’t allow this site to download multiple files” ?
Fix: Settings, Show Advanced Options, uncheck “Ask where to save each file before downloading” – Restart Browser

How to force windows to forget a network share password using the cmd prompt:
net use * /delete /yes (Use this command for all)

Map Drives using the cmd prompt:
net use DRIVE-LETTER:\\SHARE-LOCATION USER-PASSWORD /user:USERNAMEHERE

To find out what’s blocking port 80 on a Windows machine, start a windows command prompt (cmd.exe) – this probably needs Administrator privilegies – and type the following command: netstat -ab

And look for the line saying 0.0.0.0:80. The following line should have the .exe file named in brackets.

Remote Desktop
How to change remote desktop port
Start Registry Editor.
Locate and then click the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\TerminalServer\WinStations\RDP-Tcp\PortNumber
On the Edit menu, click Modify, and then click Decimal.
Type the new port number, and then click OK.
Quit Registry Editor.
Restart the computer.

Run msconfig as Administrator
Press Start > Run and type in “CMD”. Hit enter and, once a Command Prompt window has opened, type the following:
runas /user:Administrator C:\WINDOWS\pchealth\helpctr\binaries\msconfig.exe
